The omelette was light and tasty, the acquacotta exquisite: the management is attentive to quality to the point of thinking about the happiness of life in general of the animals eaten, never farmed. Here you are surrounded by about 300 plants, most of them Hydrangea macrophylla, nomen omen. Stefania is an excellent food guide but also a tourist guide around this splendid corner of Verbano.

Local of other times it is well hidden above Gemonio, all elements that adapt to the land menu of the place (there is also some inspiration from the lake), mushrooms and mushrooms that come from the Bergamo area or Tuscany. Fresh pasta in plain sight, generous portions and digestible taste. Maybe cold place like ambientate with a fireplace that blends with the environment but not enough if you leave to eat early. Unpopular prices. Parking to be found in front of or behind the restaurant and constantly moving staff. In essence it has its own precise identity and clearly cannot please all palates. Location that in summer can give something extra, where in my case I would not have disdained a few more degrees Celsius. Eggs and porcini forever!

My boyfriend and I had dinner here and were well received. Nice restaurant. All very good! Large portions and delicious. 😋The owners are very nice and very helpful. I absolutely recommend this place! 🤗😊

What to say ? Dear owners but otherwise we are not there.Large room closed due to the cold and the few customers.Interesting menu but some dishes not well done.Location that needs obvious modernization and maintenance interventions.Having said the above, the price is a bit high.
