Maybe this was just "lost in translation". The meal was extremely basic (pasta with pomodoro sauce and shredded lettuce/cabbage) and it seems that was the only choice available? I still cannot understand why it cost as much as it did. Extremely nice hostess, just wish I actually had a meal that was memorable for a good reason.
